Dyslipidemia is one of the main risk factors for development cardiovascular diseases (CVD), which remain leading cause death worldwide. Lipid level control most effective strategy prevention CVD and its complications (CVC). Statins are first-line drugs hypolipidemic therapy. often found in patients with chronic liver (CLD). From a clinical point view, number CLD have an increased CVD. Due to insufficient awareness doctors about possibilities using statin non-statin lipid-lowering therapy CLD, possibility treating reducing CVC this category missed. The purpose review study modern approaches (statin non-statin) various etiologies, including at stage cirrhosis (LC). Conclusion. should not be considered as contraindication use statins other drugs.
